Photo Gallery: 24 Hours Of LeMons

As a satirical take on the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of LeMons—complete with budget limitations and costumed participants—is based on vehicles that would be considered junkers by typical automotive standards.

These “lemons” must not exceed $500 in initial cost, although strict safety standards are required. This, in turn, results in massive quantities of aftermarket sales of roll cages, safety harnesses, racing seats and other equipment. At the same time, the focus clearly is on “fun” competition, as evidenced by the creative entrants that comprise the field at these events.

To that end, we present the following photo gallery showing some of the more, shall we say, unique vehicles to grace the track at 24 Hours of LeMons.
