PRI Offers 2013 Show Goers Day At Indianapolis Motor Speedway

For an all-inclusive ticket price of $60, Trade Show guests will be granted exclusive access to the legendary facility.

For racers around the world, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway stands as the most legendary arena for the great sport of auto racing.

And for those who have never been to the Speedway, PRI is offering a special daylong package at an all-inclusive ticket price of $60.

A PRI shuttle bus will pick up guests at the Indiana Convention Center Maryland Street entrance (near Capitol Avenue) at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 11. It’s the day before the exhibits open for the PRI Trade Show.

At the Speedway, guests will start off with the popular Grounds Tour, where a knowledgeable Hall of Fame Museum staff member will serve as host and provide tour participants with a narrated historical journey through the decades at the “Racing Capital of the World,” along with visits to notable IMS landmarks normally open only to officials, drivers and teams during events.

Next, take a ride around the famed 2.5-mile IMS oval in one of the Museum’s comfortable tour buses. Grounds Tour guests will visit the timing-and-scoring suite in the Pagoda, the Media Center, Victory Podium, Gasoline Alley garage area and the world-famous “Yard of Bricks” at the start/finish line.

For lunch, it’s a short bus ride over to the colorful Union Jack Pub, with its terrific store of racing memorabilia to enjoy while eating.

Then, it’s back to the Speedway to spend quality time in the Hall of Fame Museum, located in the IMS infield. Some 75 vehicles are on display there, including the Marmon Wasp, which won the inaugural Indianapolis 500 in 1911 with Ray Harroun at the wheel. Also on display is the famed Borg-Warner Trophy, which honors the winner of each Indy 500.

The ticket price of $60 includes transportation to and from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Grounds Tour, lunch at Union Jack Pub and admission to the Hall of Fame Museum.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.pri2013.com/speedway, or by calling 949/499-5413 (ask for Tory).
