Directly below the aisle sign for the 1000 aisle is a presentation by the Quarter Mile Foundation, featuring the famed Swamp Rat XIII dragster built by Don Garlits, and Garlits himself signing autographs for his book.

The Quarter Mile Foundation is compiling video interviews of the pioneers of drag racing while they’re still with us. The goal is both to have a historical record of the start of the sport as told by the people who started it, and a documentary that may be aired nationally. It’s called Project 1320.
