GM Inaugurates New Performance & Racing Center

General Motors opened its new Powertrain Performance and Racing Center Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Pontiac, Michigan.
The 111,420-square-foot facility, connected to GM’s Global Powertrain Engineering Center, brings Racing and Powertrain together under one roof, enhancing the development processes for the company’s diverse racing engine programs.
General Motors Global Powertrain Vice President Dan Nicholson, General Motors U.S. Vice President Performance Vehicles and Motorsports Jim Campbell and Team Chevy NASCAR driver Ryan Newman were all onsite to address the gathering for the opening.
