The American Canadian Tour has revealed the six-race Serie ACT schedule.

The series will operate under a new management team this season, with Marc Patrick Roy named managing director for the series based in Quebec.

“M.P. Roy is a familiar presence at short tracks in Quebec and the northeastern U.S., and brings a wealth of knowledge and renewed enthusiasm to his new position,” ACT President Tom Curley said. “We are delighted to have him join our team. He brings with him a strong team of officials who have been involved in ACT racing for many years, in a variety of capacities. We look forward to the 2017 Serie ACT events.”

“I am excited to put my team of officials together,” said Roy. “I had the opportunity to work with each of them in the past.  These are very honest, professional individuals, with a tremendous knowledge of stock car racing and know what is expected to run a smooth show.”

The schedule kicks off on Saturday, June 10 at the Autodrome Montmagny and the series will crown its champion at Montmagny on September 2. The series will also visit Montmagny on June 24 and July 22.

Autodrome St-Eustache will host the series twice, with events scheduled for July 8 and August 19.

“I want to thank the drivers who mobilized themselves in favor of the continuation of the Serie. Without their work, especially that of Donald Theetge, Patrick Laperle, Dany Trepanier and Jonathan Bouvrette, this reorganization would have been much more difficult and complex,” said Roy.
