USAC Welcomes Tulsa Club To Honda .25 Program

The United States Auto Club (USAC) has confirmed the addition of the historic Tulsa Quarter Midget Club as its newest member of the Honda .25 Midget Program.

The club, established in 1958, has been in the same location for over 50 years, and has seen many youth start racing at the small concrete oval.

The 2014 USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car Champion Brady Bacon, 2013 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Champion Daryn Pittman, and two-time ASCS Sprint Car Champion Shane Stewart, both current World of Outlaws drivers, all started their racing careers at the little track in Tulsa.

The Tulsa Club prides itself on member involvement, helping promote the club and the sport by participating in Christmas Parades, car shows and hosting ‘Arrive and Drives’. The most recent Arrive and Drive event held in March recorded 77 participants. Because of these efforts, the club
boasts a Rookie/Novice Class of 13 this year; more drivers than were at Opening Day in 2014.

Opening Day at the Tulsa Quarter Midget Club will be April 12, and the Tulsa leg of the TnT Series will be held May 30.
