The United States Auto Club (USAC) continues to build its western presence with the recent addition of the Aztec Quarter Midget Club in Aztec, New Mexico.

Located just 190 miles north of Albuquerque, Aztec will team with the Kart Kanyon Club to give young drivers the chance to race with more competition and on two different types of tracks.

The Aztec track is completely flat, whereas Kart Kanyon is banked. The two tracks will work together alternating dates for events. Opening day for Aztec was April 4, while Kart Kanyon will hold its first event May 2.

The club will race on Saturdays with a $10 sign-in fee. For now, they will race both Honda 120 and 160 classes, with plans to add more classes in the future.

Aztec Speedway is located at 421 Legion Road, Aztec, NM. For more information, call 505/801-1298 or visit www.AztecSpeedway.com.
