Sprint Cars Of New England (SCoNE) Announces New Leadership Roles

Officials with the Sprint Cars Of New England (SCoNE) have announced the addition of two officials for the 2023 season. Racing veterans Justin St. Louis and Dan Douville will help to lead the organization for its 20th year of operation.
St. Louis has been named the president of SCoNE. He will manage day-to-day operations and work closely with the SCoNE Board of Directors and member promoters. St. Louis will also handle media and marketing duties and will serve as the play-by-play announcer on race days.
"I've spoken with the promoters of all four of our member tracks, and I'm really looking forward to the summer. The SCoNE schedule is the best that I feel it has been in many years, and we should have a lot of fun this year," St. Louis said.
St. Louis has 23 years of experience in short track racing, serving in many roles across corporate staff and race day official positions, according to the series.
Douville, meanwhile, has been hired as the race director and will control on-track operations. He brings 35 years of racing experience and notably ranks second on SCoNE's all-time win list with 28 feature victories. He was also the tour's champion in 2011 and 2015.
SCoNE features winged, open-cockpit, open-wheel race cars with 360-cubic-inch, methanol-fueled engines producing around 600 horsepower. Theschedule features Bear Ridge Speedway (Bradford, Vermont), Devil's Bowl Speedway (West Haven, Vermont), and The Flat Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Loudon, New Hampshire). The season opens on Saturday, May 13, at Devil's Bowl with a $1,000-to-win event.
