Ford Making Limited Edition Mustangs To Honor Petty

Ford is teaming up with Richard Petty to produce 143 limited-edition Mustang GTs in 2015 as a tribute to the seven-time Sprint Cup champion.
The cars will be built by Petty’s Garage with the 143 total made up of 100 Stage 1 examples and 43 Stage 2 cars.
In addition to 627 horsepower, the Stage 2 GTs are painted in Ford Tuxedo Black over Petty Blue and feature Richard Petty’s signature on the dash, custom floor mats, and embroidered headrests.
If you want to join AC/DC singer Brian Johnson as an owner of one of the cars, start looking between the cushions for loose change to cover the $62,210 price tag.
