Officials at recently reopened Tomahawk Speedway in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, announced a multi-year agreement naming VP Racing Fuels as the track’s Official Fuel beginning in 2016. The agreement calls for Remington Oil, VP’s distributor based in Antigo, Wisconsin, to be the track’s exclusive supplier of race fuel. VP’s HP101 and VP110 will be available on site in pails and drums, along with other blends to be determined.
The agreement also designates VP as the primary sponsor of the track’s points fund. To be eligible for end-of-year points prizes, racers must purchase one 5-gallon pail of VP fuel per race or one 54-gallon drum to cover 11 points races.
“We’re pleased to bring VP on board as our Official Fuel given its well-deserved reputation for quality products and unsurpassed service,” said Andrew Bartelt, Co-Owner of Tomahawk Speedway. “VP’s race fuel blends are second to none and we’re confident our racers will appreciate having convenient access to them here at the track.”
“VP has a long history of supporting dirt track racing and we’re excited to partner with Andrew and Marilyn Fanetti as they breathe new life into Tomahawk Speedway,” said JP Remington, Vice-President of Remington Oil. “Andrew and his team have a solid plan and are doing all the right things to ensure it remains viable. We look forward to working together with them to grow the track and its programs for years to come.”
