AAAA Awards Recognize Innovative Products And Marketing

Outstanding auto aftermarket people, products and promotional materials were recognized at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour, April 11-13.

Organized by Expo host—the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA)—the Awards to Industry program is run every two years in tandem with the Expo to promote excellence in the industry and to recognize the achievement and commitment of the industry’s people, and the research and development they invest in innovative products and marketing techniques.

This year, 39 awards were presented in a range of categories including excellence in product innovation, media, manufacturing, export, marketing, Young Achiever, Outstanding Service to Industry and inductees into the AAAA Hall of Fame.

The Awards to Industry were presented to individuals and businesses at an industry dinner addressed by Federal Opposition Leader Tony Abbott (pictured) and attended by almost 700 auto aftermarket industry leaders.

In a spirited speech supporting the auto aftermarket industry for its contribution to maintaining the national car fleet and to the economy, Tony Abbott congratulated the commitment and innovation demonstrated by the award winners.

Silver Excellence in Export
Turbosmart

Bronze Excellence in Export
Fulcrum Suspensions - Superpro

Awards presented to individuals and businesses for excellence in new products and promotions are keenly sought by exhibitors. Many companies leverage their industry awards to gain benefit from their achievement in future marketing campaigns.

These award winners were announced at the capacity crowd AAAA Awards Breakfast on the opening day of the Expo. Among the winners of the best product and promotional awards was Australian Clutch Services Pty Ltd, which received the Best New Aftermarket Product (Performance) honor for Xtreme Clutch - Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ.

All winning products were on display during the Expo, which attracted 367 exhibitors to the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
