According to the International Hot Rod Association, Dallas Raceway in Crandall, Texas, will be closing its doors and ceasing operation by May 7, the track announced.

With the closure of Dallas Raceway, IHRA Division 4 Director Frank Kohutek is currently seeking a new date and venue for the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL event that was originally scheduled for May 17-19 at the track.

The Summit Team Finals event will also be affected by the news, and that event will also be moved to a new location.
