Two longtime members of the motorsports community--Billy Kann of Phoenix and Becky McBride of El Cajon, California--have joined the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Board of Directors.

Kann, the owner of an Interstate Battery distributorship, previously competed as a driver and team owner for over 13 seasons in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, now NASCAR ARCA Menards Series West. McBride is a NASCAR Cup Series registrar and ARCA West technical inspector. As a teenager, she first joined the industry at Cajon Speedway, the former oval race track near El Cajon, California.

"We have needed a greater presence in Arizona for some time, and [Billy's] appointment fills that need," said Ken Clapp, Chairman and CEO of the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame. "No one is more present and connected within the NASCAR community than Becky McBride... We are very fortunate to have both Billy Kann and Becky McBride join us."
