The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has announced a new education initiative.

The On Track motorsports education program is a partnership with the Warren County Area Technology Center, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College and Holley Performance Products.

Students at the tech center and at SKYCTC will spend the 2015-16 school year rebuilding two late-model Chevrolet Camaros, incorporating the science, technology, engineering and mathematic disciplines.

The cars were donated to the program by Holley and the program is part of a chamber educational initiative to teach local students motorsports technologies and work practices in southcentral Kentucky.
