Lola Cars, the revived car builder based in the United Kingdom, announced its commitment to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship through at least 2030.

Alongside Lola, three other major manufacturers--Nissan, Porsche and Jaguar--have also committed to Formula E's GEN4 era, which will be introduced in Season 13 (2026-2027).

"With their historic return to top-tier motorsport for Season 11 next year, we’re delighted that Lola Cars will also be committing to the GEN4 era," said Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E.

Founded by Eric Broadley in 1958, Lola Cars has designed and produced nearly 5,000 race cars spanning 400 different model types. Till Bechtolsheimer, chairman of Lola Cars, purchased the brand in 2022.
