Mansfield Motor Speedway Announces Ohio Summer Fair, More Circuit Of Champions Races

Following a storm canceling the main feature of the Memorial Classic back on May 28, Mansfield Motor Speedway officials have announced new events for its 2017 season.
The Memorial Classic's postponed A-main feature, which included 24 drivers for the Arctic Cat All Start Circuit of Champions, will take place on October 13. The night will also include a second 30-lap feature race, with both competitions going towards ASCoC 2017 championship points. The series season finale takes place the following night in in Rossburg, Ohio, at Eldora Speedway.
“It is extremely rare to get to see these guys run 2 main events in one night, so this sets up a really big weekend of racing in October at Mansfield,” said Cody Sommer, President of Mansfield Motor Speedway.
The other canceled feature from the Memorial Classic, involving the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS), will be made up on Aug. 11 as part of Great Lakes Dirt Nationals weekend. The weekend will now have a total of seven main event races across two days.
Tickets from the Memorial Classic will be valid at the gate for Aug. 11 and Oct. 13 events.
The track also announced it will host the Ohio Summer Fair later this month on June 21-24. The four-day event will feature carnival will feature thrill rides and special attractions as a way to celebrate summer in Ohio.
