Tim Zapp Promoted To Borowski Race Engines Shop Manager

Borowski Race Engines, Inc. (BRE) has announced that Tim Zapp has been promoted from lead technician to shop manager.
Zapp, an active drag racer, is described as a "true prodigy," having assembled his first engine at the age of 14. Zapp most recently completed Holley’s EFI training program as well as an advanced Rottler 5-axis CNC course.
Zapp first joined Borowski Race Engines while still attending high school, and is now in his ninth year of employment with the engine builder.
Borowski Race Engines, based in Joliet, Illinois, builds engines for street, race, and marine applications. Established in 1968 by Ted Borowski, the company is known for its high-end LS builds.
Borowski Race Engines was purchased by Ken and Joe McCaul in 2010. The company was also recognized by Engine Builder Magazine as the Race Engine Builder of the Year at the 2018 PRI Trade Show.
