The British Touring Car Championship has announced an unchanged calendar for the 2016 season.

The series will keep its 10 rounds in the same order for a fifth straight year, opening and closing at Brands Hatch.

There are slight adjustments to the dates, with the Croft round moving forward from the end to the middle of June and allowing the second half of the year to run a week ahead of the recent pattern.

That means the season will conclude at the start of October rather than the middle of the month.

A six-week summer break is retained between the Croft event and Snetterton at the end of July.

October 1-2: Brands Hatch (Grand Prix)
