Knoxville Raceway Introduces Upgraded Mobile App

The new Knoxville Raceway mobile app update is now available for download on both iPhone and Android phones.

The update comes just two weeks before the start of the 2017 Knoxville Nationals August 9–12 and will be the exclusive location for live "points as they run" updates throughout each night of the event.

The app has not only been redesigned for a better user experience, but the technology behind the app has also been upgraded. Version 3.0 has new and exciting features to enhance the race fan experience and improve the way the track communicates with its fans. For the first time, the Knoxville Raceway app will include push notifications. These alerts will be sent directly to users with breaking news, results, sponsor offers, appearances, ticket information and more.

The live results pages have been redesigned to be more user-friendly as well. Not only are the updates coming much faster on race night, but car classes have been broken into their own tabs which reduce the amount of scrolling that was previously required. The live results will still feature race lineups, live action blogging, and the finishing order of each race.

The Knoxville Raceway mobile app was one of the first motorsports apps on the market in 2012 and certainly the first dirt track racing mobile app.

Future updates are planned, according to the company, as they continue to integrate systems at the race track to give fans a taste of the action, whether sitting in the grandstands or tuning-in live from halfway around the world.

The new Knoxville App can be downloaded from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (Apple).
