Hendrick Motorsports Promotes Eight

The NASCAR team Hendrick Motorsports has elevated eight senior leaders into new positions, said to be designed to strengthen the 12-time and defending NASCAR Cup Series champions and enhance the team’s overall management structure.
Scott Lampe, Ken Howes, Jeff Andrews, Brian Whitesell, Jim Wall, Darian Grubb, Diane Holl and Michael Landis have all received promotions within the NASCAR team group.
Most notably, vice president and chief financial officer Lampe has been promoted to executive vice president, making him Hendrick Motorsports’ third-ranking officer after owner Hendrick and team president Marshall Carlson. Lampe will continue as CFO with responsibility for core business functions that include accounting, aviation, human resources, information technology, legal affairs, purchasing, and real estate.
Veteran racer Ken Howes, who has 32 years of service with Hendrick Motorsports, has been named vice president and chief of staff. Director of engine operations Jeff Andrews has been elevated to vice president of competition. Nos. 5 and 24 team manager Brian Whitesell has been promoted to the new position of vice president of operations.
