ICMS Annual Congress At PRI 2017 Delivers The Latest In Motorsports Safety

Offering a top-level forum for professionals in the field of motorsports safety and science, the International Council of Motorsport Sciences (ICMS) will present its 29th Annual Congress December 7–8 at the 2017 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show.
The ICMS Annual Congress was created to inform and educate the international motorsports community, different scientific and medical disciplines, sanctioning body personnel, automobile designers and constructors, race team managers and drivers, and industry corporations on improvements in safety and performance for motorsports participants and highway drivers.
The conference curriculum will be delivered in educational modules, including medicine and physiology, applied science, logistics and administration, and motorsports safety. It will be presented by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable practitioners from around the world.
“ICMS was founded on the principle of bringing the best medical, scientific, and educational individuals together to promote safety for the human aspect of motor racing,” said ICMS Executive Director Don Andrews. “We greatly appreciate PRI asking us to present at this show. The PRI Trade Show is the premier motorsports show in the world, and it makes perfect sense that we’re involved with it. This is a major event in the motorsports and motorsports safety industry.”
ICMS members have been instrumental in the creation of many life-saving procedures and products used across all forms of motorsports today. The ICMS Annual Congress is among dozens of seminars and conferences scheduled for this year’s PRI Trade Show, which takes place December 7–9 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The Congress, which will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each Show day, takes place in rooms 205-207 of the Convention Center.
