Indoor TQ Midget Racing Coming To New York State In 2018

Len Sammons Motorsports Productions will present indoor three-quarter-midget racing February 9-10, 2018, at Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
The inaugural Albany Indoor Race is a new event for New York State, modeled after events run previously in Atlantic City, N.J., and in recent years in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Trenton, New Jersey.
The last indoor auto racing of any sort in New York state was held in 2002 at the Niagara Falls Convention Center; that venue was since repurposed for a casino.
The two days of racing will consist of a full program of racing for TQ midgets on both nights, including features both days; slingshots will be scheduled for both nights.
The Albany race is the finale of the Len Sammons Motorsports Productions Indoor Auto Racing season, and will be where the 2017-18 series champion is crowned.
