Maryland International Raceway (MDIR) has announced that Christopher Higgins has taken over as director of Marketing and Public Relations. Higgins has been employed with MDIR for four years as an announcer and working various events.

Higgins takes over for the departed Rick Linder.

“Four years ago if you told me that I would be in this position, I never would have believed you. This is one of the best tracks in the country and I am getting to learn from a top-of-the-line staff lead by [General Manager of MDIR and COO of IRG Sports and Entertainment] Royce Miller. I am looking forward to the new challenges that this opportunity will bring while continuing to grow in my new role,” he said.
