A number of motorsports facilities have reopened, or announced plans to reopen, after the coronavirus pandemic shuttered tracks around the nation.

Track officials have announced the 104th Running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place on Aug. 23 without fans. The decision was made following careful consideration and extensive consultation with state and city leadership. The CARS Tour will sanction the Old North State Nationals, set for October 17-18, at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, North Carolina. The event will offer a $75,000 purse, paying $30,000 to the winner and $1,250 to start the feature on Sunday. If North Carolina remains in Phase 2, however, alternative plans will be announced. Eldora Speedway
Eldora Speedway officials have announced the 50th World 100 has been rescheduled to early September 2021. The legendary event was scheduled for September 10-12.
While the grandstands and campgrounds remain closed, competitor-based auto racing is an approved activity, so racing will still take place Thursday through Sunday, September 12.
In addition, the 39th 4-Crown Nationals has been rescheduled to September 2021.
