Holley Performance Brands, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, has named Alex Buccilli as its new senior vice president of operations and supply chain.

Buccilli will lead Holley’s manufacturing, supply chain and purchasing operations, working closely with the company’s business units to oversee logistics, strategic sourcing and distribution. He will also be tasked with enhancing the long-term operational footprint of the organization, the company said.

Buccilli has more than 20 years of experience in operations, financial, marketing and sales leadership. He most recently served as senior director of global warehouse operations for Genie, a global equipment manufacturer of distributor.

In his role, Buccilli assumes the operational responsibilities previously held by longtime Holley employee and former chief operating officer Brian Appelgate, who is retiring later this year. Appelgate will continue in an advisory role for the company’s safety and business unit.
