Modified superstar Stewart Friesen and special events promoter/motorsports writer Brett Deyo have entered into an agreement with New Egypt Speedway owner Fred Vahlsing and general manager Danny Serrano to lease the facility for a return of the premier big-block Modified touring series to the Garden State in 2013.

The event will pit the best of the Super DIRTcar Series against top Pennsylvania-New Jersey talent in a 60-lap event on the 7/16ths-mile oval.

The night will mark the first Super DIRTcar Series event at New Egypt since October 13, 2007.

Further details—including the support division for the program—will be announced in the near future.
