Joe Elmore, host of automotive television shows "Horsepower TV" and "Muscle Cars," has passed away, POWERNATION announced. He was 80 years old.

An Arkansas native, Elmore moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1985, where he began working for the Nashville Network before his rise to prominence in the automotive world began with "Horsepower TV."

Additionally, he served as host of "Tennessee Crossroads," a magazine-style travel show that airs on stations across Tennessee and the Southeast.
