The World of Speed Motorsports Museum (Wilsonville, OR) has announced David Pearson as its new executive director beginning Thursday, November 2.

Pearson, who comes to Wilsonville after 22 years at the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria, will oversee the museum’s mission of education and entertainment through the celebration and preservation of motorsports.

The World of Speed opened in April 2015 and is an educational museum featuring historic race cars, boats, motorcycles and more in interactive and hands-on exhibits and activities. It encompasses many aspects of motorsports including drag racing, road racing, landspeed racing, open wheel racing, NASCAR and more.
