Mac Tools Renews John Force Racing Deal

Mac Tools has renewed its sponsorship of National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) team John Force Racing.
The hardware brand will continue as a partner of drag racing's most successful outfit until 2017. It will continue to supply its tools to the John Force Racing crew in a deal which also includes branding rights and will lead to the creation of a licensed John Force Racing line of consumer products.
The association between the two began in 1996, and the team has since won 13 NHRA Funny Car world championships.
"Mac Tools has been with us for almost 20 years and we have won a lot of races and championships with their tools," said John Force, the chief executive of John Force Racing. "They are a tremendous partner and at the end of the day this is a team effort that starts with the crew guys putting these race cars together. I have a lot of respect for the folks at Mac Tools and I am very proud to be extending this relationship."
Brett Shaw, the Mac Tools president, added: "We have an exceptional relationship with John Force Racing and are honored to know that our tools have helped the Force organization accomplish winning the most races in NHRA history. We are extending our associate partnership to continue our momentum by increasing the exposure for our products and brand."
