PDRA To Honor 2015 World Champions At Conclusion Of PRI Show

Over 450 of the biggest names in professional eighth-mile drag racing will converge at the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) 2nd Annual World Championship Awards Saturday evening December 12, 2015 in downtown Indianapolis. This event coincides with the conclusion of the PRI Trade Show, also held in Indianapolis, December 10–12.

CEO/Race Director of the PDRA Bob Harris stated, “These are the best of the best in drag racing. We’ve had a record-breaking season as our drivers are constantly pushing the envelope. We are proud to celebrate our drivers’ accomplishments this year."

The PDRA 2nd Annual Championship Awards will wrap up the organization’s sophomore year as the premier eighth mile drag racing series. Teams battled over a nine-race schedule across the country to vie for the honors of PDRA World Champion. Now their names are etched in drag racing history.

Pro Extreme - Jason Scruggs

Pro Nitrous - Rickie Smith

Pro Boost - Kevin Fiscus

Pro Extreme Motorcycle - Eric McKinney

Pro Open Outlaw - Jody Stroud

Top Sportsman - Ronnie Davis

Top Dragster - Justin Melton

Pro Junior Dragster - Preston Tanner

Top Junior Dragster - Alexis Tanner

These nine drivers will begin defending their championship with the 2016 PDRA season kicking off in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Tulsa Raceway Park, March 11–12, 2016. The PDRA sportsman, professional and exhibition categories feature some of the most exciting drag racing action in the country at each of their two-day events.
