The International Council of Motorsports Sciences will present three separate networking opportunities during Race Industry Week 2015 at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Indianapolis, December 10-12, including the Annual Congress on Wednesday and Thursday and a new Racetrack Safety Seminar on Friday morning. Friday afternoon there will be a demonstration of race track procedures by elite motorsport safety response teams, including the Holmatro Safety Team from the Verizon IndyCar Series and the NHRA Safety Safari, that will be open to all who have an interest in track operations and safety.
From 1:30–2:00 p.m. on the afternoon of Dec. 11, some of the most experienced safety response teams in the world will demonstrate "how it should be done" during this special event which is open to all PRI attendees at no charge.
The Racetrack Safety Team Demonstrations will feature experts in their fields delivering the latest in safety response for the benefit of all personnel responsible for on-track safety initiatives. These demonstrations will consist of teams displaying the techniques used by the premier road course, oval track and drag racing safety programs. Applications will involve multiple racing machines such as sprint car, dragster, stock car, formula car, etc. for a broader understanding of how to provide the best possible response to a verity of racing incidents.
Additional event information and registration instructions for the conference and seminar can be found on the ICMS website at www.TheICMS.org.
The PRI show is open to industry professionals and is not open to the public.
