The International Hot Rod Association has announced the official schedule for the 2015 IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL season.
The 2015 edition of the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour will feature more than 40 races at 23 facilities across North America. With the recent announcement regarding the return of national event class racing at all Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series events, each division will feature a mixture of single and double events stretching from February to September.
The Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour will also remain the only path to the year-end Summit Racing Equipment Tournament of Champions presented by AMSOIL crowning the IHRA World Champions in Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Stock, Stock, Quick Rod, Super Rod and Hot Rod. The top three finishers in each division will move on to the championship tournament at Memphis International Raceway to close the year.
"We are very excited to announce the 2015 edition of the Summit Racing Pro-Am Tour. This year's schedule is quite diverse with a number of new stops and brand new opportunities for our racers," said Mike Baker, IHRA Senior Director of Competition.
