Xceldyne Acquires Assets Of France-Based Movaltec
Xceldyne, the titanium valve and valvetrain component manufacturer, has acquired the assets of Movaltec, the steel valve and valvetrain component manufacturer.
Movaltec was founded by Jean-Charles Marteau in 2006 in Vibraye, France, and was jointly branded as Xceldyne Europe from its inception. The company has supplied teams in Formula 1, IndyCar, World Rally Car, Le Mans, GT, and more.
With the announcement, Marteau will join Xceldyne’s team based in Thomasville, North Carolina as its director of Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies. The integration of the companies is expected to be completed in January 2021.
