Memphis Rockin' Radial Series Schedule, Payouts Announced At PRI 2016

Memphis International Raceway (MIR) announced the Memphis Rockin' Radial Series during the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The series is new to MIR in 2017 and will be the launching pad for the future.
With a schedule dominant to bracket racing and big bucks events over the last couple of years, Memphis brings racing diversity to the schedule to allow for more heads-up racing. MIR will host three Rockin' Radial events in 2017 featuring X275, MX235, Mean Street, 6.0, 7.0 and 4.90 index. The final event of the year will welcome Radial vs. the World and LDR.
The dates are set with the opener on February 11, 2017 followed by May 6, 2017 and wrapping it up on October 27-29, 2017 with the grand finale. Also joining the schedule, will be Door Wars featuring Radial vs. the World - $20,000 to win taking place June 23-24, 2017.
"We are really excited about this Series. Everyone knows I'm a heads-up guy and bringing this type of Series to Memphis is a great addition to our facility," said Dominic Blasco, director of operations at MIR. "Memphis is the host location for the Outlaw Street Car Reunion in March under Tyler Crossnoe and Mark Samples leadership, and the Memphis Rockin' Racing Series is a perfect addition to our schedule. We feel bringing more heads-up racing to MIR will offer a better mixture of events to our racers and fans."
