Together with Energy Manufacturing Ltd. (Energy), Callies Performance Products has announced a new licensing deal with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to manufacture and distribute the 426 Hemi and the 440 Wedge cast iron engine blocks, plus cast iron and cast aluminum cylinder heads.
Energy Manufacturing will produce the cast iron blocks and cylinder heads while Callies, its sister company, will manufacture supporting components and rotating assemblies. Sales and distribution will be based at Callies in Fostoria, Ohio.
“The marketplace hasn’t had real access to this product in over a decade. Now customers will be able to get these blocks consistently through the Callies dealer network with Mopar 426 Hemi and 440 Wedge part numbers for their engine builds,” Callies and Energy Vice President Heath Norton said.
All manufactured parts will carry authentic Mopar part numbers and will be produced from original Mopar molds, cores, and engineering data. Orders will begin to ship in the third quarter of 2020.
For inquiries, builders and racers may contact Callies at 419-435-2711.
