The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has inked a new partnership with Hawk Performance, which will serve as the title sponsor of a new category for 2013.

The Hawk Performance Fastest Lap of the Race will award a driver a special product award for each LOLMDS event in 2013. The driver that records the fastest lap time during the feature event will be awarded the Hawk Performance Fastest Lap of the Race.

"With our contingency for the Hawk Performance Fastest Lap of the Night, our line of DTC rotors and pads will be a perfect match for LOLMDS drivers and teams," said Cody Currie, Marketing Manager for Hawk Performance Products Group.
