The IHRA has appointed Dustin Farthing as its new president, the organization announced.

Farthing brings experience as both a racer and business leader with more than 30 professional championships to his credit across multiple disciplines, including personal watercraft, offshore racing, snowcross and Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

As president, Farthing will oversee the growth and strategic direction of the IHRA across all divisions, including drag racing, offshore powerboat racing, personal watercraft, stock car racing, pulling, snowmobile competition, concerts and future expansions, the sanctioning body said.
