Port City Racecars (PCR), based in Mooresville, North Carolina, has announced the acquisition of Crazy Horse Racecars (CHR), the asphalt short track chassis builder and current PCR dealer based in South Paris, Maine. Once the acquisition is complete over the next month and a half, Crazy Horse Racecars will become Port City Racecars.

Current CHR customers should expect increased resources and a “seamless” transition, PCR said. The additional resources include skilled fabricators, sales and marketing efforts, as well as back-end office operations that will position the company for growth.

“...With this move into the Northeast market, PCR will be able to closely support the vibrant community of asphalt short track racing by offering all our same services but in a much more convenient way by eliminating long drives for our customers in the Northeast when they need to get their cars serviced,” PCR Owner Gary Crooks said.
