Keystone Opens Distribution Center In Eastvale, CA

PRI exhibitor Keystone Automotive Operations has opened a new distribution center in Eastvale, California. The new 450,000-square-foot facility replaces its 190,000-square-foot distribution center in Corona, California.

The highlight of the massive new facility is the 80 dock doors, with 40 dedicated to shipping and receiving and 25 docks for cube vans. Its Corona facility only had seven docks.

Because trailers can now park in a dock that is parallel to the products slated for the truck, the shipping department saves 1.5 hours on each delivery. Shops in the West Coast area will be able to receive extended next-day shipping hours as well.

The new facility brings other benefits, including less local traffic.

Following Keystone’s 900,000-square-foot headquarters in Exeter, Pennsylvania, the new Eastvale location is the company’s second-largest distribution center out of a total of seven such facilities in the United States.
