Bob Riley, the celebrated chassis designer and builder, has passed away. He was 93.

A recipient of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Bob Russo Heritage Award and an IMSA Hall of Fame member, Riley had a storied career as an engineer, car designer and owner of Riley Technologies, which he ran with his son Bill Riley.

A contributor to the Le Mans-winning Ford GT Mk IV program, Riley built many other iconic cars, including the Ford Mustang GTP, Coyote Indy car, Intrepid RM-1, Mk XI Daytona Prototype and more.
