Indiana IHRA Track Receives Approval For Expansion

Osceola Dragway, the IHRA-sanctioned track in Osceola, Indiana, has recently received approval from Elkhart County Commission for a track expansion.

After a 2-1 vote, Osceola Dragway may now build a test course and business park on its 170-acre facility. As part of the announcement, the track will also be renamed Hoosier Motorsports & Business Park.

Along with the business park and new course, officials announced plans for an expanded berm and the addition of two curves to the current track to help safely slow down racers.

Developers have not given an expected project completion date for the latest updates to the facility, which was founded in 1957 by the late Arthur Chizum.
