After five days of traveling through Georgia and Florida, Sick Week 2025 Presented By Gear Vendors Overdrive wrapped on Saturday, February 1, with two record-breaking runs.

Brett LaSala secured a new world record for a radial tire drag-and-drive car in his twin-turbo 2011 green "Snot Rocket 3.0" Mustang, first opening with 6.12 seconds at 235 mph and later running 6.07 seconds at 236 mph--for an average of 6.24 seconds--eclipsing his own record of 6.263 from last year's Sick Week. Sick Week emphasized that one of LaSala's runs was very close to capturing a 6-second lap, though a boost cut shut down what could've been his best run yet.

In the naturally aspirated category, Ed Ensor clocked four runs between 7.078 and 7.090 seconds in his 1985 Foxbody Mustang. Later, his best run came on Day Five, with a 7.078 at 194.74 mph, giving him a final average of 7.096, lowering the record significantly from his previous best of 7.53 seconds.

The drag-and-drive event backed by Sick the Magazine was named the Best Motorsports Race in the United States by USA Today in 2024.
